I woke up this morning, not feeling any better than I was last night. So I rang work straight away to call in sick, my boss said I had to work 2 hours only, even though I was calling in sick, so I said I'll have to try find a way into town first, so she said ring me back to let me know. I have a shower and get ready and so on, and my brother offers me a ride to work, I leave home get to work, and my boss says, "what are you doing here?" Kinda made me think, well, I am coming in to work for 2 hours, which I told her, then she tells me she rung someone else to cover for me, cause I didn't contact her to tell her if I could get a ride in or not...now is this my fault?
I'm not sure, but she said she texted me and stuff telling me to ring back asap, but I just turned on my phones, and I have received no texts from her...so not sure what to think now.
I always have troubles when calling in sick, wish things were so much more flexible.
Ah well, not to worry, I am in the process of looking for a full time job, good luck to me!
